ICO Race; Lugano 6-8th June 2018
Last week, the Clarity project team competed in the most ambitious pitching competition in the Blockchain world to date. Out of 169 ICO entries, we successfully qualified for the semi-finals and flew, last minute (!), to Lugano Switzerland for the head-to-head pitches. ICO’s from 39 countries across the globe competed for prizes totaling $1 million in token sales and a listing on one of the top three crypto exchanges.
With only 10 short minutes to impress the judging panel, CEO Aynsley and COO Steve put on an awesome performance in the semi-finals and secured one of only 6 spaces for the finals day like true professionals.
Following traditional market policies, the final top 20 teams were required to clearly explain how their product or service will untangle distinct problems within the sector they represent. Aynsley and Steve valiantly pitched in front of 7 panel experts, 500+ attendees and crypto investors on the second day of the finals. It is certainly no mean feat demonstrating the market potential, consequential future demand and scalability of our project, whilst simultaneously conveying the company vision to such a knowledgeable audience. Our passion for wanting to positively impact small business owners globally, definitely made our mission stand out from the other final 20. And whilst we took away a lot of helpful insights away to implement, it is clear that our vision is a strong foundation to spring from.
“We were blown away by the positive feedback from the judges and community. We’re grateful to have been included with the world’s best ICOs and it was a pleasure to share our vision for changing small business worldwide, forever.”
Despite not placing in the top three, we are extremely proud of all the team for rising to the challenge in a matter of hours. This competition is the first of many to come for the Clarity project, and the opportunities, conversations and exposure that came about are a credit to all team members, both front line and behind the scenes. Watch this space, or more specifically, follow how we get on in the World Blockchain Summit in Frankfurt 25-26th June… this time with a little longer than 24 hours to prepare!
