Billed as Europe’s biggest blockchain event, UKBlockchain took over Olympia London for the jam-packed one day conference: BlockchainLive18. Following its inception last year UKBlockchain hosted another stellar line up of blockchain founders and innovators. The #CLRTY project team joined over 60 other exhibitors inundated by 5000+ attendees.

Talks were held across a myriad of stages including; the Leaders Summit stage, C-Suite stage, the Fintech Platform, the Govtech Stage, the Technology and Developmental stage, the Product Journey stage, Crypto stage and the Blockchain Energy forum.

On the Product Journey stage, Serg Metelin head of developer relations at Block.one shared his thoughts on how to drive blockchain mass adoption: ““Popularizing the benefits of using blockchain technology while making it as invisible as possible for the end user is part of the puzzle in bringing about mass adoption.” Later on in the day, James Watson the CEO of SolarPower Europe discussed how to galvanise renewables with blockchain: “Blockchain enables us to create global scale utility platforms to automate and verify complex processes between parties and conflicting interest”.

Our main aims for the event were to raise awareness for the Clarity brand, share our vision with an engaged and eclectic group, and most importantly build and strengthen our Clarity Community. On all accounts, #BlockchainLive was a huge success, particularly for growing the #ClarityCommunity. The whole team were swept off their feet with questions and conversations from start to finish.

Attending and presenting at blockchain events is a crucial way for our team to learn and progress within the crypto world. Conferences with interactive sessions provide exceptional networking opportunities with a purely blockchain-focused audience. Connecting with the crypto community is particularly necessary at this time as we are leading up to our Token Sale.

With such a huge attendee list at #BlockchainLive18, we witnessed first hand how huge the crypto community is in London alone. This reiterated back to the team the enormity of our project and ultimate end vision. The Clarity project isn’t just looking to break the crypto market, we want to bridge the gap between small business owners, accountants, investors AND the crypto world through the use of our online business advisory platform. It’s not a small task by any means, and it isn’t easy to explain in a catchy one line pitch on a stand at events!! But bit by bit, we are spreading clarity amongst all networks, and we are so excited about bringing all of the communities together when our platform goes live in Q3 2019.
