Clarity at Accountex

Clarity’s Founders Aynsley Damery & Steven Briginshaw took to the stage at Accountex, the UK’s biggest accountancy conference on the 24th May 2018.

It was very popular with standing room only in the packed theatre.

Aynsley & Steves talk introduced blockchain to accountants covering:

– What blockchain is and how it works
-The difference between blockchain and Bitcoin
-The strengths and weaknesses of the technology; and
-The impact blockchain technology could have on audit and accounting.

Throughout the talk and our time at Accountex the team received some engaging and good questions asked on open and private blockchain, the advances in accounting and auditing and when we would likely see blockchain technology in accounting.
